A Gang is a criminal organization formed by players. Team up with friends, set up a headquarters, complete contracts, craft weapons on the Black market, and fight for territories and businesses.
What Is a Gang
Gangs replace the previous Family system and the old Faction Gangs. The new system brings organization management and criminal activities together in one place.
Members have access to:
-
a shared member roster, ranks, and permissions;
-
chat and rank-based salaries;
-
a headquarters, storage, a safe, and a garage;
-
Gang contracts;
-
the Black market and metal;
-
Territory and Business wars;
-
shared rankings with seasonal rewards.
Gangs are separate from government Factions and clubs. A player can be in a Gang and a social club at the same time, but can’t be a member of both a Gang and a government Faction.
Government Factions include the Police, Army, Government, and EMS.
How to Join a Gang
To join a Gang, your character must be at least level 12 and must not be a member of a government Faction.
You can find an organization through the Gang app on your tablet. It includes a list of Gangs, information about them, and the option to submit an application. The Leader or an authorized member can also invite a nearby player.
If you are already in a government Faction, you must leave it first. Likewise, a Gang member must leave their Gang before joining a government Faction.
How to Create a Gang
Creating a Gang costs 650 VC. You can purchase this service in the in-game store under “Services”.
When creating a Gang, you must choose:
-
an emblem;
-
a name;
-
a primary language;
-
an affiliation, such as mafia, cartel, triad, or brotherhood.
The creator becomes the Leader and can invite members, assign ranks, and develop the organization.
A headquarters is not required immediately after creation. A Gang without property can have up to 5 members, but vehicles, storage, and some activities will be unavailable.
Gang Management
You can open the organization menu through the Gang app on your tablet or from the radial menu.
From there, you can:
-
view the members and see who is online;
-
manage ranks and permissions;
-
accept applications and send invitations;
-
configure access to storage, the safe, and vehicles;
-
set salaries for each rank;
-
view the actions log;
-
track resources and statistics;
-
access contracts, rankings, and criminal activities.
A member's permissions are determined by their rank. Most sections can be viewed from anywhere in the world, but changing settings, taking items from storage, and performing safe transactions can only be done at the headquarters.
Salaries
The Leader sets a salary for each rank. Payments are issued during PayDay and deducted from the Gang safe. The Leader doesn’t receive a salary.
If there is not enough Cash in the safe, some members may not receive their payment. The system continues processing the remaining payouts, so a member with a lower salary may still get paid even if there was not enough Cash for a larger payment to the previous player.
Gang Headquarters
The headquarters is the Gang's main property. It can be:
-
a Gang house;
-
an apartment of any class with the “Gang Headquarters” upgrade.
A Gang can have only one active headquarters. You can set a route to it through the organization menu.
The property type and class determine the organization's limits:

If Your Limits Decrease
Moving to a lower-class headquarters doesn’t remove members, vehicles, Cash, or items.
-
If the number of members exceeds the new limit, they remain in the Gang, but no new players can be invited.
-
Vehicles over the limit are locked in the order they were added. They become available again when the limit is increased or slots are freed up.
-
If the storage or safe is over capacity, contents can still be withdrawn, but nothing new can be added.
If the Gang No Longer Has a Headquarters
The organization's contents are preserved, but property-related features are suspended:
-
storage and the safe become unavailable for transactions;
-
vehicles can’t be spawned;
-
new vehicles can’t be purchased;
-
the Gang can’t start a Business war;
-
income from territories and businesses is suspended;
-
the Gang headquarters spawn point disappears.
A war that has already started is not canceled. After a new headquarters is purchased, access to the preserved property is restored and the limits are recalculated.
Gang Resources
The organization has three main resources.
Cash in the safe
What it is used for: Salaries, vehicles, and other organization expenses.
How to get it: Contracts, holding territories and businesses, member contributions.
Metal
What it is used for: Buying and crafting items on the Black market.
How to get it: Contracts, criminal activities, territories, businesses, and Gang Store.
Reputation points
What it is used for: Placement in the seasonal rankings.
How to get it: Contracts, territories, businesses, and other Gang activities.
Reputation points are not spent on purchases. For individual members, their contribution is shown as reputation.
Metal Storage
The organization's maximum metal capacity is 5,000. If a reward exceeds the available space, the excess is lost.
Every day at 00:00 server time, the system checks the current amount. If the storage contains more than half of the maximum capacity, the excess is removed until the amount is reduced to 50%. Members receive warnings before the check.
Contracts
Contracts are tasks for Gang members. They can be accepted through the organization menu from anywhere on the map.
A contract card shows:
-
a description and objectives;
-
member requirements;
-
time limit;
-
rewards;
-
current progress.
Rewards may include personal XP, Cash for the safe, metal, and reputation points.
You can’t start a contract if you are already completing another contract, working a job, taking part in an incompatible activity, registered for a war, in jail, dead, or do not meet the task requirements.
Leaving the Gang cancels your active contract.
Black Market
The Black market is a Gang section where metal can be exchanged for weapons, armor, and other items.
Any member can view the available items. Purchases are only available to players with the required rank permission and only while inside the headquarters.
A purchased or crafted item is immediately placed in the shared Gang storage. If the storage is full, the purchase is blocked.
Available items include:
-
Silenced Pistol;
-
Deagle;
-
Shotgun;
-
UMP-45;
-
AK-74 and AK-47;
-
Body armor;
-
Baton;
-
Mask.
Weapons come with a set amount of ammunition. Once the ammo runs out, the weapon disappears, and you will need a new one to keep using it.
Gang Vehicles
A member with the required permission can purchase a vehicle for the Gang at a dealership. The payment is deducted from the organization safe, and the number of available vehicles depends on the headquarters.
Vehicles available to your rank appear in a separate Gang tab in the Transport app.
Main rules:
-
a vehicle can be spawned to a suitable road;
-
each vehicle can only be used by one member at a time;
-
a vehicle that is currently in use can’t be spawned again;
-
after it is parked or despawned by the system, it becomes available again;
-
quick vehicle call on the HUD doesn’t select Gang vehicles;
-
a Gang vehicle can be sold back to the state for 70% of its market value.
The Leader and authorized members can set a minimum access rank separately for each vehicle.
Business War
Gangs can capture businesses and receive a share of their income.
A Leader or Deputy Leader can start a war if the following conditions are met:
-
the Gang has a headquarters;
-
at least 4 members are online;
-
the organization is not taking part in another Business war;
-
the selected business is available and not on cooldown.
Once the war is declared, a 10-minute preparation phase begins. Players who want to participate must be at the registration point in the headquarters. Before the battle starts, the system moves registered players to the combat arena.
The battle lasts 5 minutes. The first side to score 30 kills wins. If neither side reaches 30 kills, the side with more kills when the timer ends wins. If the score is tied, the defending Gang wins.
Each team can have from 2 to 30 players. After death, a participant returns to the battle after 5 seconds.
A captured business gives the Gang:
-
1% of purchases made by players at that business;
-
15 reputation points per hour;
-
3 metal per hour.
After a war, the business goes on a 3-hour cooldown.
Important: if a Gang loses its headquarters, it can’t start a new war. If a business owned by a Gang without a headquarters is attacked, that Gang will not be able to defend it.
Territory War
There are 50 territories in the ghetto. Gang members can see them on the map, with owned, enemy, and neutral territories shown in different colors. Players who are not in a Gang don’t see these squares.
A Leader or Deputy Leader can start a capture while inside an available square. The Gang must not already have another active Territory war, and the player starting the capture must not have an active contract.
Neutral Territory
A neutral square can be captured without PvP. After the capture starts, the territory flashes on the map and comes under the Gang's control after 1 minute.
Another Gang's Territory
Attacking another Gang's square starts a full war:
-
8 minutes of preparation;
-
participant registration on the territory;
-
5 minutes of combat;
-
up to 5 minutes of overtime if the score is tied.
No more than 10 players from each Gang can participate. At least 2 attacking players are required for the attack to take place.
Kills only count inside the active square. A player who leaves the area has a few seconds to return, after which the system teleports them back. After death, the player returns to the war territory after 10 seconds.
If the score is still tied after overtime, the defending Gang keeps the territory.
After the war ends, the square goes on a 3-hour cooldown.
Rewards for Holding a Territory
For each full hour a Gang controls one territory, it receives:
-
$8,000 in the safe;
-
1 metal;
-
5 reputation points.
The holding timer is paused during a war. If the owner changes, the timer starts over.
Gang Rankings
Points determine an organization's position in the rankings. The table updates every 10 minutes and shows the top 10 Gangs.
One ranking period lasts 14 days, or 336 hours. When it ends:
-
members of the winning Gangs receive rewards based on their placement;
-
results are saved in the winners history;
-
all Gangs' ranking points are reset to zero;
-
metal, Cash, and other property are not reset.
Every member who is in the Gang when the ranking period closes receives a reward.
Leaving and Disbanding a Gang
How to Leave
You can leave through the Gang menu. After you confirm:
-
you lose access to the headquarters, storage, and vehicles;
-
your active contract is canceled;
-
your personal items from organization storage are moved to the Rewards section.
A player taking part in an active Business war or Territory war can’t leave the Gang until the activity ends.
The same rules for returning personal items apply when a member is removed from the Gang or added to the blacklist.
What Happens When a Gang Is Disbanded
A Gang cannot be disbanded during an active war. After it is disbanded:
-
its territories become neutral;
-
captured businesses are released;
-
all stored metal is removed;
-
the headquarters is no longer assigned to the organization.
Before disbanding the Gang, make sure members have collected any items they need and that shared resources have been used.
What Happens to Families After the Update
Existing Families and legacy Faction Gangs will be converted into the new Gangs. The system will preserve the organization's member roster, ranks, permissions, safe, items, vehicles, and property.
Choosing an Organization
If you were in both a Family and a government Faction, or in both a Family and an old Gang (Street Crew or Vibe Lords) before the update, you will need to choose one organization after the update.
You will have 7 days to make a decision. Once you choose, the character leaves all other incompatible organizations. If no decision is made in time, the system will choose automatically based on the character's role and rank.
The level 12 requirement does not apply to players who were already members of an organization being migrated. Existing invitations and applications will be canceled.
Ranks After Migration
Property and Limits
-
All Cash from the Family safe is transferred.
-
Personal items keep their owner.
-
Items belonging to players who choose another organization are sent to their Rewards section.
-
Personal items that can’t be stored are sent to their owner, while shared items are sent to the Leader.
-
The Family house or apartment becomes the new Gang's headquarters.
-
Vehicles are transferred with their settings and rank-based access preserved.
-
The active headquarters receives 14 paid days of property tax.
If the transferred property exceeds the headquarters limits, nothing is deleted. The organization will still be able to withdraw property, but it will not be able to add items to over-capacity storage or add new vehicles.
If the Family did not own any property, all members remain in the organization, but the base limit is 5 players. Until the number of members falls below the limit or the organization acquires a headquarters, no new members can be accepted. Storage, the safe, and vehicles remain locked until a headquarters is purchased.
Territories, businesses, and old ranking points are not preserved during migration. All Gangs start the new ranking period on equal terms.
